However past experiences doesn’t always tell the future. It’s so good for me to test out new iOS features before everyone else’s. While I can’t recommend you yet whether or not to install iOS 14 public beta especially if the iPhone (or the iOS device) is your main daily driver, but I can tell you this, based on my past 3 years experiences with iOS 11 public beta, iOS 12 public beta and iOS 13 public beta, while they are not yet fully optimized and perfect but on my case I have only my iPhone which I use it daily to support me in work and entertainment and the past 3 years with 3 different public beta iOSes, I can live with it. It’s available for FREE so long you register yourself as a public beta tester. The caveat: It’s not the final iOS 14, but rather a public beta version release for public to try it out and (optionally) give feedback to Apple on things buggy and what can be improved for the iOS 14. Keep in mind that this is an initial release of a major software revamp and it will be prone to bugs and instability. You now just need to sit back, relax, and enjoy the automated process as it is installed onto your device like any normal software update.
Step 5: Select the Download and Install button to start the process of getting the iOS 14 developer beta installed to your device. You should see the “iOS 14 Developer beta” show up as an available download. Keep in mind that you will need to have an active internet connection. Step 4: Once the profile is installed, launch the Settings app and then navigate to General > Software Update and wait for the device to communicate with Apple’s servers.
