Poppies, California’s state flower, hummingbirds and bees are included with motifs from Indian Saris, Japanese tapestry and Islamic tiles. Julie Chang calls her design for the floor of the new Salesforce Transit Center “ The Secret Garden” after the children’s story published in 1911.

This vision includes art by four artists commissioned by the San Francisco Arts Commission. Their work is a highlight of the new development and showcases how much art can bring to a public space.
